Some good reading, a fair amount of driving, work calls and trip to the mall this evening with Moey and Laura and Figgy and seven other girls for dinner and a movie for Laura's 15th birthday. Fifteen! I remember going to the hospital to see that baby brunette....
Had to drive far to another town today, and forgot to get a writer's contract in the mail before I left Montclair. Needed to get envelope weighed at P.O.--was mailing back two signed multi-page contracts and a letter. Cost: 61 cents, according to electronic machine and postmistress in Somerville. Pretty amazing when you think about the job the post office does for pennies, carrying our letters across the state, across the country, across the world.
I always feel very productive when I get to the P.O. and mail things.
